Josh Smith was born October 7, 1979 in Middletown, Connecticut. Before he was 1, his family relocated to Florida, eventually settling in Pembroke Pines, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. But beyond that, I felt honored, nervous, unsure, and yet excited all at the same time. Durham had very few dance opportunities so Josh had to excel and work hard to grab the ones that did come to town.Joshua left his home in Durham North Carolina to move to Atlanta, at the young age of 18, to pursue his dream of being a professional dancer. Creative Director, Jamaica Craft recruited Joshua as a dancer on the Usher URX worldwide tour.

When he arrived in Atlanta he was booked on the Disney Original Movie “Let It Shine”. Josh Smith Currently freelancing when I can find the time. He joined the Collizion Crew and was featured on season 7 of America’s Best Dance Crew.

His undeniable style propelled him from being a dancer for Austin Mahone to being a choreographer for Austin Mahone. While touring around the world, for the next 2 years , his dance skills continued to grow.

His undeniable skill, natural swagger and great attitude has allowed Josh to continue working as one of the top dancers/choreographers in the country.
